Blackie is picked up by Chicago police after Miss Moray fingers him for robbing her grandfather of $10,000. When Inspector Farraday questions Blackie, he learns Miss Moray wants his help recovering the Jonathan diamond, stolen from her apartment after her fiancé George Atwater left it. Blackie escapes out the window, goes to the Atwater mansion, finds the diamond in the library safe, and outsmarts both Farraday’s men and the Atwater household to recover it. (Sponsored by Rinso.)
